There once was a house

There once was a house
on top of a hill
Where a very bad monster
used to live
Now it is empty
Oh yes, I am sure
So lead the way
To the top of the hill
And we will go in
Close our eyes
and count to three

It might eat you
It won’t get me
You see my friend
This is your end
You shouldn’t have
trusted me
I would never count
as far as three

Why did you lead me here,
To this house on the hill,
I am roped, bound and eyes filled with tears,
I never wanted to come it must of been when you slipped my drink that pill.

You tell me to trust you and count to three,
But all I want to do is go home and let out a shrill,
Pain and darkness fills within me,
Till this day no one knows what happened in that house on the hill.

Great poem. Creepy and was ominous. I could also hear sharp violin chords being played.
