Hear the waves

So it is spring in Norway and with that I thought it would be a good time to make a music post about one of my summer songs. 😊 Like all normal Norwegians I spend my life obsessing about the beach… (I actually do love winter a lot though 😉).

Currently the song is called The Beach on SoundCloud, but the original title was Beach Bum, and it will go back to that name as soon as a project is finished.

Beach Bum is one of my newer songs. I have started doing everything myself these last few years when I’m making songs, including the mixing and mastering. I guess it is the best way to get what you have in your head into the actual song… or at least try….

I am just in love with beach songs in general. I really like the feeling of being at the beach, sand under my feet and the sound of waves. I have tried to recreate that feeling in this song to the best of my ability, and I hope it comes across that way. I hope it makes you want to go to the beach, maybe even live there. 😉

Beach Bum has also been made into a story that you can read here Beach Bum I do like the cheerfulness of beach songs, but when I have them in stories they sometimes become a contrast to a darker theme.
