I just wanted to drop by to wish everyone a merry Christmas! I hope you are doing well and that you are looking forward to the new year! π
I wrote you guys a little Christmas poem in this post that you can you read if you like, and I also thought I might post the link to three Christmas stories (with songs) that I have written before.
Probably not standard Christmas stories, but if you are in the mood for something different they might do the trick π
Things have been pretty busy lately, and it will probably continue to be pretty busy like life often is, but from January 6th I am starting with something new on this blog. Storytelling Sunday. Every Sunday I will post an audio story with one of the stories I have written (or a new story that I will write). I just like to listen to audio stories/books myself, and it would be fun to try to make some recordings. I would have started with this sooner, but I need my recording gear and I donβt have it before after Christmas. So anyways if you want to hear a story on Sundays (I thought this would be a good day for stories π) you can drop by, and I will make a new Audio Stories category.
RUNAWAY
You know what happened
One day
Our tree
Got away
What tree
you say?
Well Christmas
Of course
It went out the window
Quickly it jumped
It said
It was done
With the glitter
Those angels
And that fake star
It wanted to be
Just like it was
In the forest
At night
Covered in snow
Reaching for stars
That truly could glow
