Hi
I have now finished making my first audio story, and I guess it will be Storytelling Wednesday instead of Storytelling Sunday this time 😉. Turns out that it was a lot more work than I anticipated to make an audio story and life is busy. It isn’t perfect, but I hope you will enjoy it and maybe it will make the story seem more “alive” to you. 😊
This is an audio story of a MyStoriesWithMusic-story (combing the stories I write with the music I make) which means that the story The Thief is mingled in with the song The Thief.
The story starts with a conversation between Allie, her sister Lily and her friend Jess (or actually it starts with some seconds of music, but after that you can jump into the conversation 😉). You can listen to the audio story here on the website or download it on the link beneath:
Temporarily removed ….
Here is the original written story:
And here is the soundcloud-link to The Thief if you just want to listen to the song:
I hope you have enjoyed “The Thief”, the story as well as the song, and I really hope that you would like to hear more songs and read/listen to more stories.

That was so brave, to choose such a long and intense story for the first production. Really pulled it off though. I remember reading ‘The Thief’ when you published it, I understand it much better now I’ve listened to you read it out. Excellent start to your new venture!

Thank you, glad you liked it! 🙂 I have to admit that it was a bit more work than I thought it would be, but it was an interesting experience. 🙂

It’s really well produced and mixed. The sound effects were so subtle I was getting images without knowing where they came from! 🙂

Thank you, I thought it could be fun with some sound effects to “set the scene” in a way 🙂

I wish I could sing. A poet is dangerous who can sing and write their words. You are welcome.
