My latest creative project is the Wacom tablet that can be used for digital drawings or paintings 😊. It sounded fun before I bought it and it turns out that it really is, there is something very relaxing about drawing. I thought it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to share my work in progress.
Well … let’s start with a purple canvas it seems (not entirely my favorite color, but white would just be too boring …)
Wacom has a nice feature that duplicates what you draw/paint on the left side if your drawing on the right side. Very helpful or this would not have been symmetrical for sure… 😉 In the end I should probably try to make it less symmetrical, but for this stage it works I think.
Even more fun is I guess that you can throw a bit of “magic” into it with a “glowing” brush 😊
Trying to make the eyes look like they’re “alive” is the hardest part. Apparently according to helpful tutorials at Wacom it is all about thinking about light and shadows. I have at least tried to get some life into those eyes.
Need some eyelashes too…
So this is how far I have gotten with creating the eyes. I just thought it might be fun to share as I like to see other people’s posts about drawings/paintings that are evolving, and I hope to show you this one as it hopefully becomes a face. Fingers crossed 😊
