Hi 😊
So, this blog is really turning into my little “creative corner” in the world and I was thinking of adding my music directly to the blog instead of always having it linked through SoundCloud. What do you guys think, a good idea?
I guess I am not technically moving my music away from SoundCloud (as I would like to have it on SoundCloud as well), but I think am at least going to start moving my music to this blog, to make my little “creative corner” complete 😊.

This means I will have a Download music- page in the menu where I will have some songs available for download, but I will announce it in posts when different songs can be downloaded (or just listened to of course)
I used to really like SoundCloud but these last few years I guess it has felt a bit like a ghost town after they changed the “groups” -feature (where you could post new music), I felt it was easier to interact with people you didn’t know from before back then. Now I feel like I will use a hundred years (well, maybe not quite, but you get the point 😉) if I am going to find people with active accounts that are interested in new music and might have the same taste as me… I don’t know about SoundCloud, hope they find a model that works for them again.

I will start by making my summer song Beach Bum available to you guys. You can download it or just listen to it whatever you feel like, and if you like it, I would of course really appreciate it if you spread the word 😊.
I do love to make songs that are about the beach, about getting away, doing your own thing and Beach Bum is all that. I hope you’ll like it.

My latest posts, if you are bored 😊:
- Song project – I need some water
- New Song – Summer breeze
- Summer song – The Beach
- New Song – So Dark in Here
- Moving another song – The Thief

Definitely make the switch. Makes sense as you explain it!

Yes, it is probably best to have everything at the same place 😊

Soundcloud have made it tricky to just ‘discover’ music. I’ll still use it because it deserves supporting though. It’s handy to store music there and distribute your music as links to people. Nice thought to use your blog as a creative center too though!

Such a beautiful post. Loved the song. It was so raw, I kinda felt like I was robot dancing at the beach lol. I really loved the bridge. I am a musician myself. I don’t know how to put up my music on my blog so I do it on my Instagram @stefguitargeek. Nothing special, just usually 1 minute of looping on guitar. Thank you so much for sharing your music for free.

Really like the song. Nice surf-like sound effect there!
Finding similar music to mine on Soundcloud seems more difficult than it should be. There must be someone else out there making weird experimental electronic music but I just can’t seem to find them. Making your blog a hub for your music sounds like a good idea to me.

Thank you, glad you liked it 🙂 I agree Soundcloud seems to have lost something when they stopped with the groups.
